Il Cantico delle Creature GO-VE2025

It’s a journey from my Re-naissance as Vitruvian Woman at Europe Square in GO 2025 to Palazzo
Albrizzi-Capello in Venice for “Il Cantico delle Creature”(first literary text in Italian), where two
(pictorial) Canticles of mine were selected by prof. Nevia Capello for ACIT celebrating the Anno
Giubilare dedicated to San Francesco. The “Canticle of Dawn in the Sky of Damietta 1219” presents the
constellations above Francesco and the Sultan in Egypt at the time they met, when the “Canticle in G of
SOuLs Ascending Empyrean” based on the painting of a similar name by Bosch at Palazzo Ducale turns
to actuality a Trio Performance of mine with Dario Della Rossa and Dorothea Fayne on the lagoonfront of
piazza San Marco in Venice.
Sheren’s Re-naissance Tarot in Ponza
A book, which has kept me busy for many years, featuring painting-performance-writing around Tarot and far beyond, neither dogmatic nor illustrative approach to the subject rather a revisitation in ensigns telling a Re-naissance tale that can be inspirational, has come to life. A journey in the multifaceted realm of ever-suprising facts and visions met on the way, fragments of subjective experience that can be universal, perhaps a key to understanding that history, math, astronomy and much more are interconnected and do not deny other dimensions, magic and wonder included, 110 pages in Italian and English with many images of art-life has began their journey with me in Ponza, August 2025.

There’s the common thread of photography between the painting I was invited to show at the Officine Forte Marghera collective and the review of my art journey made by Giorgio Bonomi in the IV and final Volume about ‘L’autoscatto nella fotografia contemporanea’ published by Rubbettino editore. ‘SHE’swinging’ comes from a shot at the Camden flea market, relived and re-proposed as a painting that gives life to the mannequin that we are when we are not practicing Love and Humanity. It will be visible – among the many others on the theme disArMO with which the in-residence artists have generously offered to meet – in Forte Marghera, Venezia, vernissage on 18 April 2025 at 6 pm. The exhibition will last until May 1st.
Diamonds, Oil, Saints … GO2025!
It all started from a twin label of extra virgin OIL from Gemini (Apulia) 2004. Memento of Athena and Poseidon dispute over Attica. Athena won, because the olive tree would grow out of the wound inflicted into the earth. I really like Poseidon, which I once saw on a British coin. Our Neptune travels in the salty, no useful for agriculture but otherwise sacred, waters of the sea. My Gemini wave on them went to ex Magazzini del Cotone in Genua. Among the sparkling memories, three DIAMONDs of art/life/psychiatry – A. Kowal, Letizia Comba and F. Basaglia – deserved to be painted in a little tile headed to Poland. My friends being called to SAN REMO (Festival), from San Fili (Cosenza) stand out in memories waves. Then, on February 8th in Gorizia, I re-discovered the joyful right to be a nano-thousandth, yet significant – part in GO2025. In tune, borderless.

PROPOSAL. The Northern Lagoon of Venice is something fascinating and unique in Europe. A place where humans still care about and shape a habitat suspended between sea and heaven. A body of water the boundaries of which are not so easy to define. Like those of performance art so often misunderstood and improperly used in various contexts. So, an interesting and unpredictable fusion, inspired both by the uniqueness of the Place and by the unique and lively emotions that the performers feel and express once there. Together they renew the chance of a joint practice, in harmony with Nature and aware of its prevalence over human action. An Act of Mother Earth with which artists tune in. To be revealed in brand new ways. GDL
FACTS (Brief review, book ongoing). What a bEAUtiful and surprising fluxus happening at the Jujube Festival in Lio Piccolo, enjoying good vibes and good times, reading poems in front of the flamingos, performing at the Punta Sabbioni where Mose dam stops the Adriatic Sea intruding into the Lagoon, or at the Cavallino viewpoint, proudly holding the ensigns of the red winged Lio(n) of Saint Mark emblem of the Biennale. Great to search (and found) connections with the star-shaped Venetian city of Palmanova or to twin with the Frisian Islands’ perimeter which equally protects the German coasts from the exhuberance of the Nordsee! from LONDON, with LOVE
Laura Cristin SHEren, on the occasion of her 70th year of life returned to London to celebrate/fully experience LOVE occurring along art-life. Dear ones helped, so as the crochet top and the shark Tee bought in London long time ago. Still in good condition. Seeing places through the eyes of my grandchildren was essential.
Scandinavian Sheren – April 2024
Exactly twenty years after the performance in Helsinki, Sheren returns to Scandinavia, Stockholm this time. Thanks to Giancarlo and Giulia Da Lio, Kristel, Christer and Enzo for the support!

What about poetry as a LIT-by-LOVE issue, not necessarily dependent on words? Whatever the language – even a glance or a silence – can be equally or more eloquent than a piece of written LITerature. Le Fableaux Sheren is a sampling of performances where personal feelings connect with wider contexts, where everyone – in their own way – can immerse themselves in a common Time, thinking and perhaps creating a better world!
Cribs and Stars 2022
Cribs assisted by propitious stars – linked to mOZart, good music and people, occurred in 2022 bringing opportunities for rebirths with art and friendship, in Forte Marghera, Jesolo (Venice), Fusine lakes (Tarvisio), Rignano sull’Arno, Monfalcone and wherever love has been shared. Art-life at Xmas 2021
An installation of thoughts, words and images, goes straight in my heART. It started from a recent mailart card where I depicted a Red Bench to be built and to be constantly mantained in order to SURFvive in the hurricanes (for an exhibition in Bologna against the violence on women) and a pictorial experienze in Laives at the Kunst Kolonie of Artimmersion13.
Then, holding up the figurines of the Nativity Crib from my infancy and with the gaunt bed for the Holy Child in my hands, I realized the similarity of the cot with the Red Bench above. ‘Things’ from the past emerged: a glass vase, a celebrative plate for “Natale”, a clay garland and so on.
